THE UNITED NEXT STANDARD
United Next is intentionally small and highly curated, limited to no more than 10 dancers per season, ensuring individualized attention, artistic refinement, and a high-performance training environment. This is not a recreational program — it is a focused team built on discipline, consistency, and artistic integrity.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
— Select, limited-enrollment team (maximum of 10 dancers)
— Opportunities for professionally coached solos, duos, and ensemble works
— Studio-based competitive training with a performance-driven structure
— Emphasis on advanced technical precision and stage artistry
— Elevated performance and competition opportunities
— A supportive yet disciplined environment built on shared excellence
This team is also an excellent opportunity for dancers who were not placed on their home studio’s competition team but are still motivated to compete. It provides a structured environment to gain experience, continue developing, and remain encouraged while working toward future goals.
TRAINING STRUCTURE
— Weekly company training: Tuesdays, 4:30–9:00 PM (scheduled as private rehearsal time with instructor availability)
— Choreography development primarily completed during the summer training period
— Ongoing weekly private lessons with occasional weekend rehearsals as required
PERFORMANCE & COMPETITIVE OPPORTUNITIES
— 2–3 required competitions per season
— Additional competitions available by request
— Regional and out-of-town travel opportunities available by request
All choreography is created within the United Next program. Outside choreography may be permitted for solo works; however, any use of studio space for rehearsal is subject to a studio rental fee.
After choreography is done by outside choreographer subsequent refinement, rehearsal, and performance preparation must be completed through private coaching within the program. Any adjustments or artistic modifications must be reviewed and approved by United Next faculty to ensure consistency and maintain the standard of excellence.
