Junior Pro Ballet Program (Ages 9–12)

The Junior Pro Ballet Program is the next level after Youth Pro and is designed for committed dancers ages 9–12 who are ready to advance into a more structured and focused professional training environment.

At this stage, students transition from foundational training into more detailed technical and artistic development. Built on the Vaganova method, the program emphasizes precision, strength, discipline, and consistency while deepening the understanding of classical ballet technique and artistry.

A major milestone in Junior Pro is the introduction of pointe work (when physically ready and approved by faculty), along with increased emphasis on proper alignment, foot strength, and safe technical progression. Dancers also begin refining performance quality and stage presence at a more advanced level.

Students in Junior Pro are also introduced ( if offered ) to the competitive and performance world of ballet, including preparation and participation in prestigious ballet competitions such as YAGP (Youth America Grand Prix) and UBC (Universal Ballet Competition), along with selected performance opportunities throughout the season.

Junior Pro serves as a key transition into advanced pre-professional levels, preparing dancers for the expectations of serious ballet study and professional training pathways.
