
Meelis Pakri
Guest Teacher
A graduate of the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia, Meelis Pakri began his career as a principal dancer with the Estonian National Ballet, performing internationally in Cuba, Yugoslavia, and Japan. In 1991, he joined Colorado Ballet as principal dancer, where he performed leading roles in Giselle, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, and Balanchine’s Apollo and Rubies.
After retiring in 2001, Mr. Pakri served as ballet master for Colorado Ballet and later joined the faculty of The Royal Ballet Upper School in London, where his students earned accolades at major competitions. He has also staged acclaimed productions such as The Sleeping Beauty and served as a guest teacher and judge worldwide.
Currently, Mr. Pakri is a full-time member of the dance faculty at The Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida, continuing to share his expertise with the next generation of dancers.
