After completing her training with Alvin Ailey Dance Center, Kelly King spent 12 years as a Radio City Rockette and performed extensively for television, stage, and film. Her impressive career includes national tours of Fosse, performances with Gregory Hines in Gregory Hines In Concert, and appearances in Busker Alley with Tommy Tune. Her television credits include Dancing With The Stars, The Tonight Show, the MTV Music Awards, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Ms. King is a renowned educator who served as the resident faculty choreographer at the Broadway Theatre Project under Gwen Verdon and Ann Reinking for 11 years. She has also taught at esteemed institutions like the Joffrey Ballet, Broadway Dance Center, and Steps in NYC. Currently, she is the Assistant Director of the Commercial Dance Program at Next Generation Ballet, an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida, and a judge for Universal Ballet Competition.
