Haley Bloedow is an accomplished dancer who has been growing consistently in the dance community. Starting off her training as a rhythmic gymnast Haley has a unique background which has given her a substantial amount of knowledge and discipline which she has brought with her into her dancing. Currently, Haley attends Jacksonville University as a Dance BFA Major. She is a dance major graduate of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts which is a top performing arts school. She was also a competitive dancer and was a Dancelook Apprentice for a dance film and production company. Haley is a diverse dancer as she trains in various styles of dance including Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Hip-Hop, World Dance, Tap, Choreography, and Acrobatics. Haley has been a teacher assistant since 2019 and is currently a dance teacher. She has also assisted at various dance masterclasses, conventions, and college residencies throughout her years.

Haley was an elite competitive dancer as well as a concert dancer and commercial dancer. While competing Haley received many top overall awards, titles and scholarships, some including most improved dance major at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, Top of the Talent, Standout Technique, World Dance Pageant Scholarship, Showstopper All-Star, Best Student Choreographer Award, Nationals Highest Technique Award and many other convention andintensive scholarships. She was a member of Dance Theater at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, which is the top 24 dance majors in the dance department, and she was also a member of the national dance honor society. Haley was also awarded a scholarship to attend the Joffrey Ballet School pre–professional NYC summer intensive. With thatscholarship she also received a 4-year BFA acceptance as well to Joffrey Ballet School. During her senior year of high school, she was accepted into around 30 prestigious colleges, conservatories, and dance programs along with Presidential scholarships and academic and talent scholarships.

During her elite rhythmic gymnastics career, she earned a spot on the Junior Olympic National Team and was an overall champion in rhythmic gymnastics state and regional competitions.

Haley has had the opportunity to train with many professional dancers, choreographers and instructors such as; Attila Csiki, Kelly King, Micheal Waldrop, Meg Paul, Micheal Pena, Sebastian Mari, James Boyd, Dulce Anya, Rick McCullough, Stephanie Powell, Tyveze Littlejohn, Tess Renaud, Ellen Barrett, Jennifer Turbyfill, Rhonda Stampalia,Christa Sylla, Mila Marinova, Stan Picus, Jennifer Saenz, Carlos Garland, Marisa Dolan, April Henehan, Suzanne Saltmarsh, Rochelle Underdue, Macey Rowan, Nicole Macaluso, Susan Eagan, Mandy Domingo, and Kristi Rice. Haley has also had the opportunity to train with many other professionals at workshops, conventions, and intensives, some including, National High School Dance Festival, Joffrey Ballet pre-professional jazz and contemporary intensive, Lines Ballet winter intensive where she also received an acceptance into their 4-year BFA program, Wild

Dance intensive, Ohio State dance intensive, Dancelook intensives, Dance with Jax intensives, Shake the Groundconventions, and more. She also attended Artistic Dance Exchange where she earned herself the title of ADE Prodigy.

Haley has also performed in a variety of dance concerts, ballets and performances. She was cast as Snow, Marzipan,Chinese, and a Page in the Nutcracker. She also has been in many pieces in Douglas Anderson School of the Arts dance concerts in a variety of styles and roles. As a competition dancer Haley has the experience of competing in solo, duet, trio and group dances, which have all received top awards and placements. She also has performed at the Regional and National high school dance festivals, Amelia Island dance festival, Flash Mobs with A Dance to Remember, andhas been featured in many dance films, commercials and advertisements through Dancelook. Haley was also a member of Art in Flight – founded by James Boyd.

Apart from being a dancer, Haley is also a part of the gifted intelligence program – Mensa International Society and various clubs at her school. Aside from being the dancer herself, Haley truly enjoys the teacher and collaborator side as well. Haley thoroughly enjoys getting to share her experiences and gifts with the next generation of dancers. She hopes to continue her passion for choreographing and teaching. She is looking forward to starting her professional dancecareer, with hopes of being a professional dancer, choreographer, dance teacher, and judge.
